Many large international companies have already established in their (European) headquarters or shared services centres in Rotterdam. The city however also has plenty smaller businesses and trading companies. Rotterdam also boasts a comprehensive and highly competitive range of (international) companies active in the fields of banking, accountancy, consultancy, engineering and telecommunications.
Rotterdam is well-connected to the closely-knit national network or motorways and has its own airport. In additions Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport is only a 50 minute drive away. And of course, Rotterdam is optimally accessible by train; it is on the European High Speed railway network for comfortable passenger transport to and from Brussels, Paris and Frankfurt and beyond.
