The first UECC ship in Rotterdam
The first UECC ship arrived in beautiful wintry weather conditions on Monday 14 January, destined for the Rotterdam Car Terminal. The United European Car Carriers short sea operator has added the port of Rotterdam to its sailing schedule. It transports passenger cars, heavy project cargo, heavy wheeled equipment and steel to the port of Rotterdam. Export cargo from the port of Rotterdam will consist mainly of passenger cars and project cargo.
This new combined RORO and breakbulk liner service is a further expansion of Rotterdam’s network to several European destinations, including the Iberian Peninsula, Scandinavia and the Baltic states.
