UK-Rotterdam Business Event was a success

The UK-Rotterdam Business event, held on 15 March, was successful. The Port Authority received representatives of shortsea and RoRo shipping companies, logistics providers and shippers with interests in and trade to/from the United Kingdom, the largest overseas trading partner of the port of Rotterdam.

Hans Smits opened the day in a packed presentation room, followed by a speech by HMA Paul Arkwright and several presentations related to our Intra-European Vision. There was a lot of interaction and discussions about the facilities in the port and about the sulfur regulations in 2015. In the afternoon the group visited Futureland, followed by a cruise through the port.

This event initiated by the Port Authority with the focus on the UK, was received very positively by those who joined and will hopefully be repeated in the future.
