About the Port Health Authority Rotterdam 

Originally the different aspects of infectious diseases control in the port of Rotterdam were carried out by different organisations. With the formation of the Port Health Authority Rotterdam on 26 March 2009 it is more clear who takes care of the infectious diseases control in the port of Rotterdam. The Harbour Master has a coordinating role and the Harbour Coordination Centre is the clear body for masters of ships and employees of the port to contact.

The Port Health Authority Rotterdam is a cooperation between:
