Out of operation

1. In connection with work on the lock gates of the Rozenburgsesluis, the lock chamber will be obstructed for shipping on three weekends:
from 06:00 on Saturday 1 October 2011 to 06:00 on Monday 3 October 2011;
from 06:00 on Saturday 8 October 2011 to 06:00 on Monday 10 October 2011;
from 06:00 on Saturday 15 October 2011 to 06:00 on Monday 17 October 2011.

2. Vessels are expressly requested to obtain information on the above periods of obstruction and on the progress of the work in question well in advance.
Provided that it is nautically possible to do so, shipping can opt for the alternative routes via the Hartelkanaal and Beergat, or via the Nieuwe Waterweg (New Waterway) and Breeddiep.
