Based on an integrated vision, the Port of Rotterdam Authority is working with all other parties involved on guaranteeing accessibility in and around the port. By road, rail and water. With the interests of customers and other users, the distinctive character of the port of Rotterdam and sustainability as the (most) important pillars.
Container Transferium

initiatives and projects

The Port Authority is one of the initiators of the Traffic Management Company (Verkeersonderneming). We are also supporting the development of a  Container Transferium and public transport initiatives by water. Access via broadband technology in the port increases the (digital) accessibility of the port.
