Made-to-measure! That’s what it’s all about when it comes to the transport of RoRo, automotive, forest products, iron & steel, non-ferro and project cargo/heavy lift. The ship owners, stevedoring companies and other service providers offer diversity, modern products and sophisticated logistic concepts at competitive tariffs The wide range of terminal facilities on offer means that different products can be handled quickly and efficiently; the exchangeability between containers and other concepts is very easy. Another major strong point of Rotterdam is the presence of return cargo.
Over the last couple of years, the sector breakbulk & RoRo has been given a significant impulse. Substantial investments have been made in both the terminals and in the added value that the sector has to offer. In addition, smart transport combinations have been set up in cooperation with the operators of container shuttles and/or block trains.
