Traffic Separation Schemes per 1st of July 2008

On 1st of July 2008 00.00 UTC (02.00 Local Time) the Traffic Separation Schemes (TSS) in the approaches to Hook of Holland have been adjusted. The Rotterdam Port Authority ensures traffic safety for the future. The new TSS provides for increasing traffic density, more logical routing to pilot station, future LNG transportation, larger anchorage capacity, increasing ferry traffic north west, and optimal positioning of pilot station.
