New container terminal Heilbronn

About 60% of the € 12 million construction costs for a new container terminal in Heilbronn have been pledged.

This means that there is a very good chance that the terminal, which is set to open in mid-2009, will actually materialise. The terminal, situated on the river Neckar, will have a capacity of over 50,000 TEU per annum. In the first phase, the surface area will exceed 22,000 m2. Heilbronn is located between Stuttgart and Mannheim, in Baden-Württemberg.
