Code of conduct Port of Rotterdam Authority
We all have our own, individual, moral values. They vary from one person to another. What may be perfectly acceptable to someone else may not be to you. The Port of Rotterdam Authority also has its own rules about what is and what is not considered appropriate behavior. These rules are laid down in the enclosed ‘Code of conduct’ booklet, a more up to date and extended version of ‘Where is the limit’ from 2002. The Code of conduct is an important instrument for enshrining the principle of integrity throughout our own organization by absorbing it into our policies, conduct and organization. It is a mirror against which you can measure your own behavior as well as that of others, but against which you can also be called to account for your actions. This gives it real substance, as opposed to just being a series of good intentions. In addition, the code enables us to show everyone (for example employees, customers, stakeholders and the general public) which moral values are important to the Port Authority. | ![]() |
The way in which you as an employee carry out your tasks should be in line with the Code of conduct. Prominent aspects are the core values: reliable, enterprising, customer-oriented, durable, and careful.
