The Port of Rotterdam Authority commits to Corporate Social Responsibility

In its 2006-2010 business plan, the Port of Rotterdam Authority has made Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) a vital part of its business processes and corporate culture. After all, in our view quality is the key to a successful future. We want to help the port to grow in balance. This means the construction of Maasvlakte 2, but also space for nature, the Betuwe Line and more inland shipping.

We have now developed this concept in greater detail by formulating
ambitions and designating projects. This booklet explains what will be on our agenda in the coming years in terms of corporate social responsibility. In drawing up this agenda, we make a distinction between two elements: our ambitions and how to achieve them. The ambitions are set out in a CSR statement that will serve to guide the actions of our organisation.
