The Port of Rotterdam Authority is a leader in its field, an explorer of the future of the port of Rotterdam. It directs those working at the port with enthusiasm and professionalism in pursuit of its aims in a national and international setting.
It is a self-assured service supplier, keen to ensure the success of shipping activities in Rotterdam in alliance with its stakeholders. The Port Authority aims to be a top-level player, sharing in decision-making and exerting influence in order to develop the world-class European harbour in close-knit cooperative effort.

Code of conduct
The Code of conduct is an important instrument for enshrining the principle of integrity throughout our own organization by absorbing it into our policies, conduct and organization. The code enables us to show everyone (for example employees, customers, stakeholders and the general public) which moral values are important to the Port Authority
The way in which an employee carries out his/her task should be in line with the Code of conduct.
