With a throughput of 420 million tonnes the Rotterdam port is the largest logistics and industrial hub in Europe and the gateway to the European market. Being an export port for numerous European goods Rotterdam is of great importance for the European economy.On the other hand the economic unification and development of the European Union are important to the Rotterdam port. We underline the importance of the further development of the Union and wish to make a constructive contribution towards this.
