The entire supply chain benefits when we balance the utilisation of existing assets, optimise transport movements via all modes of transport, coordinate – and, where necessary, bundle – flows of incoming and outgoing cargo, and work to establish uniform and effective communication and/or data exchange procedures. The Port of Rotterdam Authority contributes to these goals via a range of initiatives, enabling parties in the chain to achieve greater efficiency in their logistics process.
