The recent worldwide cyber attack affected one company that is active in the Port of Rotterdam. One APM container terminal has been affected by this attack. “Although a very unpleasant situation has arisen for APM and all its partners in the supply chain, no infections were found at other companies in the Port of Rotterdam, which was only affected to a very limited extent,” says (State) Harbour Master and Port Cyber Resilience Officer René de Vries.
Up-to-date information about the cyber attack and the way companies can take any action is available through the FERM partnership, within which DeltaLinqs, the municipality of Rotterdam, the police and the Port of Rotterdam Authority jointly improve the digital resilience. Furthermore, the Port Cyber Resilience Officer seeks more information about the incident.
