How can we help you?

The Port of Rotterdam Authority and the World Police & Fire Games 2022 join hands. The World Police & Fire Games are the international games for fire brigade, police, customs, and prison staff. In 2022, the games will come to the Netherlands for the first time. For the Port of Rotterdam Authority, its position as a main sponsor is a unique opportunity to express its gratitude to emergency services staff, who contribute to a safe port.

The World Police & Fire Games 2022 use sport not only as a means for staff of emergency services to meet but also as a means to stimulate sportsmanship and to generate respect for emergency services staff who are on stand-by for us 24/7.

Paying tribute to the four services

René de Vries, (State) Harbour Master of Rotterdam, looks forward to the collaboration: ‘The Port Authority is as ambitious as the participants in the World Police & Fire Games. Besides, this cooperation gives us the opportunity to pay tribute to the four services we love to collaborate with.’

An unforgettable edition

‘We are incredibly proud that the Port of Rotterdam Authority is the main sponsor of the World Police & Fire Games,’ says Eva van der Vegt, Managing Director of the World Police & Fire Games 2022. ‘Rotterdam and the port are inextricably linked, something the participants and supporters from the Netherlands and abroad will definitely experience.
